I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The spacious rooms, furnished with beautiful antique furniture, gave a taste of old Portuguese houses. The attention to detail was impressive, with towels laid out on the sunbeds and a well-maintained swimming pool. The lush green surroundings, like a park estate, created a peaceful atmosphere.
Everything was amazing, nothing to improve.

staff were very helpful.
Not having a key to the front door. at one stage we were locked out. The property needs to have some money spent on it. Although it is a period property it is showing its age.

The location is near the center of the city but you need your own transport. Private and free parking. Good breakfast. They offer information and suggestions for eating area.
The house is old and antique furnishings. The rooms are not soundproofed. The pipes are old (with yellow water). Needs immediate attention.

Our Christmas stay was pleasant and cozy. The property offered a beautiful swimming pool and spacious rooms with huge bathrooms. We found the hosts to be very accommodating and helpful in providing directions and recommendations for nearby attractions. The breakfast was sufficient and fresh, satisfying our needs each morning. we enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of this secluded location, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
We did find that the property was quite old and in need of some renovation. The absence of a lounge area for guests was somewhat disappointing, and the absence of an elevator or help for carrying luggage upstairs was inconvenient.

They picked us up from the restaurant and even drove us to the train station the next morning. The breakfast served in the beautiful enclosed patio was delicious, with fresh fruit, real coffee, and fresh bread. The villa itself is set in a wooded estate, surrounded by olive trees, creating a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. Although the swimming pool wasn't clean, the hosts confirmed the water was clean and I would've loved to swim in it if it was ready. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel during Easter and it was nice to see the Easter bunnies hopping around the property. the rooms were spacious and had a charming old-world feel to them. Plus, the bathroom was enormous and luxurious. the hosts were friendly and gave great advice on local activities to do such as visiting the nearby forest. Their breakfast had excellent bread and fresh fruit.
The hotel's location was out of the way and required a car to get around. the property was quite old and in need of a refresh.
